Red Carpet Turned Into a Dress
This brand has recycled the red carpet of the Cannes Film Festival and turned it into evening wear.
For the occasion of the 72nd edition of the Cannes Film Festival, advertising and design studio Wolfgang teamed up with the “17:10” women’s tailor brand as part of a major awareness campaign. The idea was to turn the used red carpet into a beautiful outfit.
Fashion and Ethics
After oil, fashion is the most polluting industry in the world. In reality, the making of a simple t-shirt requires 2,700 liters of water. Furthermore, the maintenance of our synthetic machine releases approximately 500,000 tons of plastic annually in the oceans. The equivalent of 50 billion plastic bottles. Can fashion and ethics coexist?
