UNDERCOVER x Nike GYAKUSOU Collaboration
Take a deep look at the UNDERCOVER x Nike GYAKUSOU Pegasus 36 Trail and its associated apparel collection. As you might expect, Jun Takahashi and Nike Running teamed up once again to release an astonishing collection. Together they released two Gyakusou Air Zoom Pegasus 36 Trail along with a six-piece apparel collection.
The Sneaker Details
Moving away from the muted tones of previous collections, UNDERCOVER’s designer focused on another palette of tones. In fact, he played with a university red and a goldish yellow for his new collection. The aesthetic details come in the form of “GYAKUSOU” Nike Pin Wheel heel patterns. A graphic rose accompanies the mid-foot swooshes and a “GYAKUSOU WENT THE DISTANCE” print also makes an appearance.
In addition to his bold designs, Jun Takahashi expresses his love of running by proposing heel reinforcements, a cage cover and lacing system inspired by hikers. Take a look just below!
The Apparel Collection
In addition to the Pegasus 36, a six-piece clothing collection was also released. The new GYAKUSOU collection features a range of essential racing apparel inspired by the bold spirit of the rebels of the 1970s racing revolution.
The six-piece collection includes a waterproof top with removable hood, a long-sleeved top, two short-sleeved tops along with shorts and multifunctional pants. The DNA of each piece is functionally encrypted, allowing the runner to withstand the hot and rainy weather, as well as anything the urban or trail runners need to cope with.
