Vans has teamed up with Disney to release a footwear and apparel collection. The Nightmare Before Christmas x Vans capsule
The Collaboration
After releasing a teaser two months ago, Vans is back with a full look at its Nightmare Before Christmas collection.
Playful graphics are spread across the Sk8-Hi, Authentic, Old-Skool, and Slip-On sneakers as well as on various apparel.
Nightmare Before Christmas x Vans Sneakers
Most of the sneakers feature character illustrations such as Sally, Zero, and the Zombie Band. But, the sneaker featuring Jack Skellington is probably the most head-turning.
The whole footwear collection includes 10 different styles. Each one is made out of a classic Vans silhouette. Take a complete look at The Nightmare Before Christmas x Vans sneakers just below.
The Sk8-Hi silhouette is reworked with a nod to Jack’s Lament, one of the film’s most famous scenes. The shoe panels show Jack walking through Halloween Town’s cemetery. “Nice Work, Bone Daddy” is written inside the collar.
The Sk8-Hi also releases in a design themed around Sally’s potion bottles.
Other silhouettes include the Classic Slip-On. One sneaker features a bat while the other refers to Oogie Boogie’s shadow.
The Era features a patchwork colorway dedicated to Sally. The Old Skool comes in a design honoring Oogie Boogie’s three henchmen.
Finally, the collection ends with a ComfyCush Authentic sneaker. It features Nightmare Before Christmas characters printed on a black and white checkerboard. There are also two sets of slides.
Apparel Collection
Alongside the sneakers, the collaboration includes a range of apparel and accessories. Our favorite pieces include an Oogie Boogie-themed jacket and a long sleeve sweater. But, there are also various graphic-printed socks, caps, and backpacks in the collection.

Nightmare Before Christmas x Vans Release Date
The collection’s released date is set for October 4th 2019. The drop takes place on Vans website.
