If you’re a Jordan Brand fan, chances are you’re also a big AJ1 fan. Well, it wouldn’t be surprising given that the Air Jordan 1 High OG has become one of the most popular sneakers in the industry.
The endless popularity is due to the fact that this sneaker is constantly reinventing. There is always a new colorway or a new collaboration to come. And it’s always more daring. For example, Jordan recently announced an upcoming collab with a well-established high fashion brand. In April 2020, we will see the release of the AJ1 x DIOR sneaker.
Also, back in 2018, the Jumpman brand dropped a cool “Game Royal” sneaker colorway and just before 2020, it seems that another “Game Royal” AJ1 is on the way.
Air Jordan 1 “Game Royal”
Thanks to @hanzuying‘s Instagram sneaker account, we now have a first look at this upcoming sneaker. Although there have been a few teasers in the past, these latest images give us the clearest look to date.
On the “Game Royal” AJ1, the toe box, the outsole, and the ankle underlays are painted in royal blue. The rest of the sneaker features white side panels with black leather overlays.
In addition, @hanzuying also shared on-foot pictures of the sneaker. We like to share these kinds of images because they are the most useful when it comes to understanding how to actually style a shoe.
Overall, it’s yet another solid Air Jordan 1 that all sneakerheads must add to their rotation for 2020.

Release Date of the AJ1 Game Royal
The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Game Royal will be released on May 9th, 2020 for $170 USD. It will be available for purchase on Jordan Brand’s website as well as at select retailers.
