People surely weren’t expecting a new Off-White AF1 MCA release. Well, they might be surprised because Virgil Abloh was spotted wearing what could be a new iteration of the iconic sneaker.
Paris Fashion Week
Rumors began to spread immediately after Louis Vuitton’s Paris Fashion Week “Heaven on Earth” runway. LV’s menswear artistic director, Virgil Abloh, was spotted wearing a sneaker we had never seen before. Perfectly matching the sky blue base tone of the runway, the designer flexed an Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 “MCA” sneaker with black soles.
Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 “MCA” Black Soles
When we take a deeper look at this brand new iteration, we can notice that it has similarities with both the Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 “MCA” and the Off-White x Nike Dunk. While the resemblance to the first is quite obvious (air force 1 silhouette, university blue colorway, silver Swoosh, white laces & Helvetica midfoot branding) you have to look further to notice the similarity with the Dunk Low.
In fact, the sneaker also features a duo lacing system, resembling the one we’ve seen on the Dunk Lows. Above the regular white laces, a set of blue laces crosses the sneaker asymmetrically.
Another detail worth mentioning is the black sole featuring a white “Air” logo on its lateral side. This element differentiates this new iteration from the previous Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 “MCA”. Finally, a regular Off-White red tag also appears on the sneaker.

Release date Off-White x Nike AF1 2020
Nothing has been confirmed or denied by Nike or Abloh yet. So we have no idea if this is a unique custom or a sample that may not make it to a wider release. We certainly hope that this bold design will hit retailers somewhere in 2020, but there is currently no way to confirm it.
As always, stay tuned! We will keep you updated as soon as new information surfaces. Hopefully, we’ll get back to you with some good news.
