Converse adds two new colourful iterations of Run Star Hike to its SS2020 line. Here’s a closer look at the “Moonshine Violet” and “Total Orange” colorways.
Converse Run Star Hike
Considered as one of 2019’s most recognizable Converse sneakers, the Run Star Hike was originally a collaborative partnership with JW Anderson. Due to the success of this collab, Converse continues to use the model as a part of its ongoing seasonal lineup.
After the previous iterations in fresh red and teal colorways, the brand is back with two new sneaker designs. The Run Star Hike is now available in lavender “Moonshine Violet” and saturated “Total Orange”.
In terms of details, both colorways feature the signature high cut of the Run Star Hike. And the style’s star logo placement is still fixed at the heel.

Like the previous seasonal makeovers, the gum outsole incorporates an additional pop of colour. In fact, the heel portion of the spiky sole is rendered in orange on the “Moonshine Violet” iteration and pastel blue on the “Total Orange.”

Run Star Hike VLTG Sneakers
In case you missed it, the Run Star Hike VLTG in red and teal colorways are still available on Converse’s Website. Both sport the trainer’s signature midsole equipped with the jagged outsole. The detail comes at the back of the sneaker. In fact, the red iteration sees a pink heel piece, whereas the teal design boasts a dark blue one.
