Concerned by those in need, Supreme and Takashi Murakami join forces to support families facing homelessness during the coronavirus pandemic. The two entities will release this Friday the Supreme x Takashi Murakami Charity Box Logo t-shirt intended to raise funds for families in need.
Supreme x Takashi Murakami
As part of the Week 9 drop of spring 2020, Supreme will release (this Thursday) a bold capsule in collaboration with Irish rock band My Bloody Valentine. But that’s not all, Takashi Murakami and Supreme will also release a COVID-19 Box Logo Tee, a day later.
In fact, Supreme unveiled an unexpected release intended to support people during the pandemic. For this charity release, the brand calls on Takashi Murakami for a USA and Canada exclusive Box Logo Tee.
The special COVID-19 relief box logo T-shirt sports the Japanese artist’s original artwork. Indeed, it features the iconic signature smiley sunflower graphic. In addition, Murakami’s logo can be found at the back of the tee above the phrase “COVID-19 Relief Fund 2020.”
The Supreme x Takashi Murakami Tee was created to support youth and families facing homelessness during the COVID-19 and 100% of its proceeds will go to HELP USA.
Help USA is a charity organization that works to ensure that everyone has a place to call home. They provide shelter to meet people’s immediate needs, as well as the support they need to succeed for themselves, their families, and their communities. Their work is crucial, especially during this pandemic.
