Adidas “Munchen” for Oktoberfest resists beer

As an extension of its popular silhouette dedicated to the Oktoberfest 2017, Adidas returns this year with 2 new models to celebrate the Bavarian festival. The annual Oktoberfest of Germany is the world’s largest beer celebration. Once again, Adidas Originals has prepared the perfect shoes for the 2019 festivities. A spill-resistant version of the Munchen. Indeed, Adidas München publishes and nicknamed the “Made In Germany”.

Just like the original offer, the new models of the Oktoberfest “München Made in Germany” will stand up to beer. This time, 2 color options inspired by traditional lederhosen will be available. First, a dark brown like the OG model and a new beige iteration. Each pair is then finished with light-colored seams and the Three Stripes brand. But also with embroidered pretzels on the buttress of the back heel. In addition, “Prost” (German for “Cheers”) is stamped on the side in a gold leaf. The look is certainly appropriate for celebrations filled with moss. But technology is even more! Indeed, the stem is treated with DPR that repels liquids, so any beer or body fluid is thrown accidentally will fall immediately.
