Hender schemes will drop more leather sneaker remakes for SS19.
The latest team-up between Hender Scheme and Adidas Originals looks toward releasing two sneakers for Spring/Summer 2019. It is the Sobakov and Lacombe models that will each receive a makeover. They will feature lavish leather detailing crafted by hand in designer Ryo Kashiwazaki’s atelier.
Hender Scheme
The Tokyo-based footwear and accessories brand Hender Scheme was founded and designed by Ryo Kashiwazaki. The brand is renowned around the globe for its striking iterations of iconic footwear silhouettes. One of its key assets is to render each pair in the highest-quality with vegetable-tanned leathers and visible handmade constructions.
Each new collaboration with Kashiwazaki pushes industrial and artisanal processes to their limits.
A “Remake”
The Adidas Originals by Hender Scheme line features proper remakes of several key adidas silhouettes.
For this summer’s collaboration, Hender Scheme’s revisits Adidas’ Lacombe and Sobakov models. Its mission is to redo these models while respecting extreme quality standards.
