After Ralph Lauren and Michael Kors, it is now Levis’ turn to announce its commitment to the LGBTQ + community through a dedicated capsule.
The story of Levi’s LGBTQ + support goes back to the 1950s, when they suppressed worker segregation! They have actively campaigned for LGBTQ + rights ever since.
Helping the Cause
Each year, Levi’s launches a limited edition line for the LGBTQ + community. All proceeds will go to the different partner organizations that help the cause. For 2019, all net proceeds will be given to OutRight Action International, an organization working to advance human rights for LGBTQ+ all over the world. Another mission statement of the organization is to educate social influencers such as journalists, police officers, and other community leaders.
