Converse and Jonathan Anderson offer us their 5th collaboration. The iconic Chuck 70 makes a comeback in a hybrid kind of way, half Run Star – half classic Chuck Taylor. Resolutely one of the star sneakers of the season.

Available February 12 on Converse website!

Pure lines and Volumes! The contrast transcribes the aesthetic signature of Jonathan Anderson.

Available in white and soon available with sequins, these sneakers are signed with two dates.”1917″, the year of creation of the Converse All Star, and “2017”, the launch date of the model signed JW Anderson.

We recognize the sole of the Converse Run Star, a runner version launched in 2018 by the brand in collaboration with Nike. (see below)

Blue and yellow traction have also been added to the toe and heel areas of the outsole for a more rugged, hiking-style look.

Details like a heel pull tab further add to the hiking boot looking shoe.

“Contrasting proportions has always been part of my design aesthetic. When I approached this latest Converse, I was looking to re-create the same aesthetic by pairing the sole of a Run Star with the classic Chuck Taylor to emphasize the proportions” – JW Anderson
