Milan Fashion Week FW20

Unlike other Fall/Winter 2020 Fashion shows, Milan Fashion Week was held in sunny conditions. It was the perfect opportunity for street style lovers to show their point of view on transitional weather dressing.

This year, more than others, accessories have played a major role in the best outfits. Indeed, Milan fashion enthusiasts were waiting for spring with trendy sunglasses and hats. The latest It-bags were also in the spotlights.

In this edition, styles were driven by retro references. From the Loewe Paula sunglasses to ’70s print headscarves, all were here to make an old-fashioned statement.

The vintage trend was also spotted on an outfit featuring a pair of maroon paisley pants and a pink striped shirt. The latest was strategically unbuttoned to reveal a dainty gold necklace.

In addition to the retro style inspiration, others were seen wearing the hottest new accessories of the season. Indeed, Bottega fans showed off the brand’s new Shoulder Pouch, Twist clutch and the Intrecciato Jodie.

In terms of bags, Prada was the most represented with its iconic bowling bag. But other brands like Louis Vuitton, Fendi and Balenciaga were not far behind.

Finally, hair accessories like Prada’s logo-emblazoned barrettes and headbands were a popular choice of outfit accents. These summerish accessories are something we normally don’t see in fall/winter fashion weeks, but this year’s weather allowed them to come back.
