After recently confirming the collaboration, Sean Wotherspoon unveiled a first look at the upcoming Adidas “Superearth” sneaker.
Sean Wotherspoon x Adidas
Earlier this year, Sean Wotherspoon took it to Instagram to confirm that he was working with Adidas on a new sneaker silhouette.
Dubbed the “Superearth”, Sean Wotherspoon announced that the sneaker will put a huge emphasis on sustainability and respect for the environment. Indeed, the laces will be made of 100% recycled paper and the sole of 10% recycled waste. He also said that the entire shoe itself will be “100% plant-based”.
While the exact silhouette has yet to be officially confirmed we can guess some elements of the future iteration.
Taking a closer look at Sean’s IG post, we can see a clean white and light blue sneaker that looks like an Adidas Superstar. The latest features green black and red floral artwork. The American fashion designer’s “SW” logo is stitched onto the tongue in green and the name of the sneaker “SuperEarth” also appears on the tongue and on the insole.
