TAKAHIROMIYASHITATheSoloist and Converse have joined forces again. This time, the collaborators will release two iterations of CX Disrupt sneakers, one black and the other white.

TAKAHIROMIYASHITATheSoloist x Converse

The TAKAHIROMIYASHITATheSoloist x Converse CX Disrupt uses the logo detailings of both brands to deliver a sneaker that is clean and futuristic.

First, in terms of utility, the upper is crafted from the same durable canvas that Converse is known for. Breathable perforations appear on the medial sides for enhanced ventilation. Finally, a pull-tab on the heel allows you to easily put on and take off the sneaker.

Then, TAKAHIROMIYASHITATheSoloist’s design elements come in the form of a stacked heel, an abstract sole and multiple logo patches. Converse’s signature star-logo patch features a subtle tonal finish.

The Takahiro Miyashita brand covered the Converse in various house symbols. In fact, you can see “I AM THE SOLOIST” on a triangular rubber mid-panel patch and “HELLO! I AM THE SOLOIST. SINCE 2010” printed symmetrically alongside the medial-side panel.

Each pair features a tonal rubberized toe cap and a matching eyestay component. The sneaker also comes with a set of complementing rope laces.

The last characteristic worth mentioning is the sole unit which is split into two sections. The rear part sports a chunky aesthetic and features a waffle detailing while the front part sports a more subtle design.
