The coronavirus pandemic has not stopped Polo Ralph Lauren from unveiling new seasonal looks. Indeed, in a new lookbook, the brand has highlighted its FW20 collection.
Polo Ralph Lauren FW20
Earlier this year, Polo Ralph Lauren revisited its archives for the Spring 2020 “Casino Collection”. The capsule revived some of the brand’s most popular vintage designs for men and women, and fans loved it.
Now, Polo is back with a new lookbook for its FW20 collection. This collection is inspired by Gatsbyesque suiting and 1970s alpine attire.
The Polo Ralph Lauren FW20 collection includes casual leather loafers, patinated derby shoes, and trail-ready hiking boots. The collection also includes several apparel pieces such as Gatsbyesque three-piece herringbone suits and classic 1970s alpine attire.
If we go deeper on the details, the collection sees slim-fitting wool trousers placed alongside varsity jackets and workwear-styled chore jackets.
On the other side, collegiate nods take form in various distressed denim emblazoned with graphics. V-neck cable-knit cardigans, sweaters and mismatched tweed jackets also hit the collection.
In terms of outerwear, fans can opt for forestries-themed jackets featuring distressed fishing, hunting, and state park badges. Details come with motifs featuring camouflage ties and relaxed flannel shirtings.
The lookbook also plays with layering and proves to us that style can be shown off in an elegant manner.
Release Date of the collection
No official release date has been revealed yet. But you can expect the collection to drop sometime around the end of summer 2020 on the brand’s webstore.
