AAPE by A Bathing Ape ends the year with one more Fall/Winter 2019 collection. This time, the company releases an industrial space capsule collection in collaboration with none other than NASA. Here’s a complete overview of the AAPE x NASA collection.
BAPE Collaborations
Last November, BAPE released a collaboration with Star Wars. The tee collection was launched just before the theater release of The Rise of Skywalker. It featured Baby Milo and epic Star Wars characters such as Darth Vader, Boba Fett, and the stormtroopers.
Then, BAPE released a first, colorful and unusual collaboration with Care Bears, the iconic fictional characters.
And now, the brand “steps out into space” for a new apparel collection with NASA. The industrial / streetwear capsule is definitely Hypebeast material.
AAPE x NASA FW19
The collection includes a wide range of matching industrial clothes. Pieces range from both long- and short-sleeve tees to sweatshirts, sweatpants, hoodies, and jackets.
Of course, each item comes with NASA’s famed logos and motifs throughout. Standout pieces include the coat and the jacket, which have been fashioned with a silver fabric lining to complete the space industrial design.
