The new Converse Chuck 70 and the American flag

A “Frankenstein” aesthetic!

Converse “Reconstructed” Chuck 70

Earlier this year, Slam Jam deposited a hand-tinted collection with Brain Dead. After that, the Italian brand worked with Converse on a pair of “Reconstructed” sneakers Chuck 70. The new styles adopt a “Frankenstein” aesthetic characterized by striking stitched lines that offer two looks in a shoe. The pack was presented with a navy and black version, as well as a white and beige edition.

The New One

The “restructured” Chuck 70 receive a makeover with the American flag. Converse has more and more hybrids of Chuck Taylors. Each provides a reconstructed version of an archival design in color and monochrome iterations. This time, an American flag pattern informs the tops of the sneaker, divided into patchwork sections by delicate stitches.

In the Details

The changes, however, are numerous, the choice of style being the restructured edition introduced a few months ago. Patchwork by design, the pair is fragmented at its best. They bring together the main components of the American national symbol either in a remark on the current state of things, or in a simple and adventurous reinvention. The right foot and the left foot diverge considerably, the last remaining mainly covered by red and white bands. The Frankenstein sneaker is available in the classic red, white and blue and black / white colors. Take a closer look below!
