After releasing an exclusive apparel collection with Nike, Supreme is back for “week 15” with another bold collaboration. But, this time, the streetwear brand has worked with artists from the Hip-Hop scene. Here’s an official look at the Supreme x dead prez Fall 2019 Collection, set to drop on December 5th.

Dead Prez

The duo composed of rappers M-1 and stic.man first met in 1990 and bonded over their shared sociopolitical ideology and commitment to community building.

Dead Prez became world-famous after releasing their debut album Let’s Get Free in 2000. On the album, the duo shed light on topics such as racism, the school-to-prison pipeline system, and police injustice. You can listen to their most popular single to date “Hip Hop” just above.

Supreme x Dead Prez collection

The Supreme x Dead Prez Fall 2019 collection is inspired by the original album “Let’s Get Free” as well as the second studio album “RBG Revolutionary But Gangsta”, respectively released in 2000 and 2004.

The key piece of the collection is a quilted jacket available in red, black, and green. These colors represent both the Pan-African flag and the RBG album cover. The duo’s name and shi hexagram logo are embroidered on the back.

The capsulw also includes hoodies, sweatpants, tees and accessories such as caps and bandanas.
