La Flamme has been everywhere in 2019 when it comes to sneaker releases. In fact, the rapper launched two of the most coveted shoes of the year, the Jordan 1 Cactus Jack & the AF1 Cactus Jack, and he does not look to be stopping in 2020. Here’s a complete look at the Travis Scott x Nike Air Max 270 React set to release next year.

Travis Scott’s Influence

Aside from fashion, Travis Scott also had a great year music-wise. The American rapper has been nominated for multiple Billboard Music Awards such as Top Artist and Top Rap Album. He also won the Top Streaming Song for “Sicko Mode” featuring Drake, Swae Lee and Big Hawk.

As for street culture, everything Travis Scott has touched in 2019 turned into gold. Aside from his sneaker collaborations with Nike and Jordan brands, he managed to create a hype cereal box that even hit the resale market. It is impressive to realize how much influence the rapper has on streetwear.

He doesn’t plan to stop disrupting the sneaker industry in 2020. Here’s a complete look at the upcoming Travis Scott Nike Air Max 270 React.

Travis Scott Nike Air Max 270 React

For his next sneaker collab, the American rapper will be making its own design on one of Nike’s most recent silhouettes: The Air Max 270 React, released on July 3rd, 2019. Expect this edition to match The Flame’s aesthetic of browns, creams and a pop of starfish orange.

“Cactus Jack” version of the recent Nike silhouette completely reinvents the shoe. Wavy overlays and padded terry cloth ankle collars appear on a light cream, starfish, and dark hazel technical mesh upper. The sneaker features a yellowed React/Air Max midsole, a pretty simple detail that completely stands out from regular 270 React designs.

Branding details include Air Max 270 React tongue tabs as well as multiple Swooshes spread across both shoes. Orange ones appear on the lateral and medial sides as well as on the lace holder, while a white one is printed on the lateral front. Also, the sneaker features a Cactus Jack embroidery on the heel tabs.
