The German sportswear giant unveils its Puma Rise “Green Cantaloupe” sneaker with the help of brand ambassador Cara Delevingne.

PUMA has expanded its sneaker lineup with the introduction of the Rise silhouette, a spring-ready shoe model that takes its inspiration from clouds.

In terms of design, the new sneaker merges PUMA’s heritage running silhouette with the brand’s RS midsole.

Two colorways are available. The original “Black-White” as well as the pastel-colored “White-Mist Green-Cantaloupe”. One provides a conservative look while the other offers a colorful cotton-candy style.

Cara Delevingne was the chosen one to star in the Puma Rise “Green Cantaloupe” campaign. The model, actress, and singer has been a Puma ambassador since 2016 along with Victoria’s Secret alum Adriana Lima and pop star Selena Gomez.

Cara also starred in the Puma x Balmain campaign last October, in case you missed it.

The construction of the new sneaker is quite interesting because Puma really puts the emphasis on utility. In fact, the Rise is made up of a rubber outsole designed for durable traction and it includes Puma’s signature RS technology to increase comfort. Finally, a lightweight midsole comes for cushioning and durability.

In terms of design, the shoe features a chunky, modern-looking appearance. Puma increased the feeling of “walking on clouds” by introducing a semi-translucent rubber caging system. Finally, branding details come in the form of a classic Puma logo on the lateral side.
