“Stranger Things” actress Millie Bobby Brown and Converse have once again collaborated on a sneaker capsule. This new collection comes a few months after Millie’s first collaborative efforts with the customizable Millie by You Converse. Remember, the first collection featured the actress’s favorite animal: the whale.
For the second lineup of Millie By You, Converse and Stranger Things’ Millie Bobby Brown looked to expand upon their footwear projects. In fact, the collaboration comes with three new takes of the classic Chuck Taylor and Chuck 70.
Chuck Taylor and Chuck 70
Brown added different color eyelets and bold colors on the foxing tape of the popular Chuck Taylor. The low-cut version comes in a black colorway while the high-top comes in white. Both of them feature a red sole, which reminds us of Louboutin’s branding.
On the other side, the Chuck 70 silhouette takes on a deconstructed look. Its upper is entirely colored in alternative shades of pink using asymmetrical stitched panels.
Finally, each offering will come with a set of removable textile and chenille patches. Also, every shoe will be embellished with Eleven’s “Be You” and “Spread Love” quotes. Those messages further speak to the collaboration’s overarching narrative of staying authentic to your own style.
