The British Fashion Awards is one of the most anticipated red carpet events of the year. It is meant to celebrate creativity and innovation within the industry. The 2019 edition of the ceremony took place on December 2 at the Royal Albert Hall in London. Here are the most beautiful outfits of the evening.

Every year, iconic figures from the fashion industry gather at the Fashion Awards ceremony in London. The event is much more than a glittering celebration. In fact, it is also a fundraiser for BFC, a non-profit organization that supports sustainable growth in the fashion industry through talent recognition and scholarships.
Winners
As with every edition, the jury has rewarded people in several categories. Among them, we can mention the brand of the year, the model of the year and the designer of the year.
Daniel Lee, young artistic director of Bottega Veneta, stood out the most. In fact, he won no fewer than 4 distinguishing awards: Brand of the Year, Designer of the Year, British Designer of the Year – Womenswear, and Accessories Designer of the Year. There’s no doubt that this year’s red carpet styles stood out in terms of creativity.
Shailene Woodley paced the red carpet wearing a long, voluminous quilted dress from Pierpaolo Piccioli’s collaboration with Moncler. A jacket as a dress, why not!
Rihanna opted for a chic look in light green tones. Dressed in Fenty from head to toe, the singer pulled up a satin dress with matching gloves and pumps. It is also worth to mention that Rihanna’s brand, Fenty, won the Urban Luxe award.
Emila Clarke, also known as Daenerys Targaryen, made a huge entrance wearing a bright yellow dress from Schiaparelli’s F/W Haute Couture Collection. Her look was both elegant and spectacular.
Moreover, the Canadian model Winnie Harlow who has managed to overthrow the standard codes in fashion stood out in her salmon dress. The high-end piece came from Vivienne Westwood’s SS 2020 couture collection.
Finally, the South Sudanese model, Adut Akech, who received the Model of the Year award showed up wearing a long emerald dress from Valentino’s haute couture collection. The dress was made especially for her by the fashion designer himself.
