Here are six brands that have proven their eco-friendly values. Plus, their clothes are seriously dope!

Weekday

The Swedish brand Weekday has recently released its SS19 collection, which features a range of clothes made from 100 % recycled materials. Produced in collaboration with Spanish upcycling company recover, the environmentally friendly collection includes wide a variety of clothing.

Weekday’s technique combines post-industrial cotton waste with recycled polyester to create fibers. This manufacturing process saves energy, carbon dioxide, water, and chemicals from being wasted.

Reformation

Reformation has become a favorite of fashion lovers over the past few years. The company states that it sources the “most beautiful and sustainable fabrics possible”. On top of that, Reformation takes the time to classify materials in five categories depending on their environmental impacts.

5 categories: “Allstars” / “Better than most” / “Could be better” / “Don’t use unless certified” / “Eww, never”

“We tried to make these standards as holistic as possible. We are taking into consideration water input, energy input, land use, eco-toxicity, greenhouse gas emissions, human toxicity, availability and price.”
