The Ancuta Sarca Nike kitten heels have gone viral on social media and to capitalize on the hype, the designer has teamed up with LN-CC. Together, they will release a limited collection of one-off creations.
Ancuta Sarca Kitten Heels
In 2019, Ancuta Sarca took Instagram by storm with kitten heels crafted from old Nike running shoes.
The idea came to her when she moved. She realized that she had a lot of old shoes that she was not wearing and, instead of throwing them in the trash, she decided to recycle them in something that she would actually wear: kitten heels.
“I wanted to place trainers in a different landscape and giving them a completely new function – elegant and feminine by pushing the boundaries of what they can become”

Her innovative approach to footwear was noticed by the prestigious talent launchpad Fashion East, which led her to present her work at the London Fashion Week SS20.
Following her presentation, the young creative sold 4 unique pairs at the East London concept store of LN-CC.
Now, the upcycled Nike heels are about to strike the social media wave again. In fact, Sacra and LN-CC are coming back with a new partnership and you might be able to get your hands on one of her designs.

Before going into purchase details, let’s go over the creations that will be featured in the LN-CC collection.
Every single one of her concepts is handmade and inherently unique. The designer uses a sustainable upcycling technique to deconstruct a trainer into bits and pieces. Then, she reuses the fragments to construct a kitten heel.
Here’s a sneak peek at the soon to be released Ancuta Sarca Nike kitten heels collection. Lucky buyers can rest assured they won’t be stepping out in the same heels as anyone else.
