Off-White claims that it has extensively used quotation marks in its branding and that the public has come to recognize them as being a source identifier.
The US-based fashion label filed a complaint against Rastaclat on April 29th for infringement of several Off-White trademarks.
The situation
Off-White is known to identify its items with quotation marks in which obvious descriptions are seen. This particular branding is turning the items into literal streetwear gold.
The brand is also known for adding a red zip tie to different items, mostly sneakers. Another simple add-on that people dream of in the streetwear community.
