YouTubers Zac and Jay of “the Zac and Jay Show” decided to challenge themselves to turn their friend Max into a model overnight. “This is the story of how we got our unfashionable mate to the top of London Fashion Week wearing the worst outfit we could find,” they said at the top of their video released on Wednesday.
“Fact”
By dressing as a joke, an English YouTuber posed as a fashion prodigy at London Fashion Week. A real buzz! It is known, the most eccentric looks are allowed in the front rows of these shows. The duo of the Youtube channel understood this very well and decided to take part in several fashion shows of London. To do it, they appealed to their friend Max, also a Youtube star.
“Huge prank”
The dudes hit up Primark, a hardware store and their mom’s closet to assemble outfits for Max’s debut. Then, they made up a supermodel name for him: “Maximus Bucharest from Bucharest.” Finally, they hit the streets and literally stopped traffic as real photographers fought for his attention.
If you can’t score an invitation to your favorite fashion show, throw on your mom’s scarf and some rubber gloves and you might just find yourself in.
“Ridicule does not kill”
Photographers and other fashionistas immediately fell in the prank, believing they were really facing a fashion prodigy. Moreover, the prank has made the front page of several English journals and the youtube video has already 500 000 views (in only 48 hours!).
